Peanut Butter Things

While speaking to Sean (texting) I was sent a photo of a 7-11 Nutter Butter Donut and became very interested towards hunting one down and also relayed a few of my Peanut Butter Snacks that I have on hand at the moment back to him.

Being a fan of All Things Peanut Butter and also trying new Peanut Butter items it was decided this needs a current entry.

Pictured above are variations of the Peanut Butter Cookie.

Nutter Butter is a long standby and I have loved them since I can recall. Oreo Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is a variation on Oreo Peanut Butter and a favorite, hope they keep making them and the package is not labelled "Limited Edition" so my wish might be fulfilled so long as sales are good.

Oreo Peanut Butter Pie is a Graham Cracker based Cookie with half Chocolate/half Peanut Butter Creme in the center.

Peanut Butter Twinkies and Ding Dongs respectively.

An example of the fact that if you put the word Peanut Butter in the title and ingredients I am more than willing to give it a try.

The 7/11 Nutter Butter Long John.

Hard to beat in the entire World of Donuts.

An odd concoction but is just right on the Flavor scale.
Meaning "it tastes just like it says on the label".

The CVS brand of Peanut Butter Cookie.

If you did not tell me it was a Peanut Butter Cookie I would pin it out as just a Chocolate Chip Cookie.

FRIEND OR FAUX - Fake Pudding Cake/Fun With Frosting

Had a dream about Boston Cream Pie (in the dream it was Cake) for no discernible reason at all, I am not a big fan and have never even ordered it from a Menu but upon waking thought to myself that I may never have had a slice proper at all.

Ideas began to buzz as they will especially at 6 a.m. and I contrived an easy way out.

Vanilla Pudding (only after purchase was I thinking Vanilla is not Boston Cream), Pound Cake Slices and Chocolate Frosting, DONE !!! well not so. I burnt the Pudding as it was made in the microwave in consideration of Cristinas washing the pots, pans and dishes and wound up making more work for her as the Pudding over boiled causing it to overflow into the Oven, Right In The Garbage it went, or more like down the drain.

*I was lightly chastised then napped.

In the interim Cristina made the other package of Butterscotch Pudding I purchased and wound up burning the Pot a bit, Thats It !!! only prepackaged Pudding from here on in.

Sandwiched the Butterscotch between Pound Cake Slices and Drizzled Microwaved Chocolate Frosting over the top, this was a chancy operation but came out after refrigeration much better than I expected. Most Tasty and even if I was served this at a party there would be no complaints from me.

*I knew I had to let the Pudding set so to waylay any longing purchased was a Table Talk Boston Cream Pie. It still sits in the fridge, I took a nap instead.

BUTTERFINGER PEANUT BUTTER CUP EGGS - "Another box of BUTTAH PINGAH !!!"

The Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Egg garners a post on here just for the mere fact that I have probably purchased 8 packages thus far and the 2016 run looks to be over.

6 one ounce Eggs per package.

Spotted while Food shopping at La Bella Marketplace on the 2 FOR $6.00 Leftover Easter Candy shelf I bought 2 packages, then another 2 and so on as the weeks passed by. They have in that time been further marked down (but not advertised to my chagrin) to a stunning 99 cents per pack and I just a few days ago acquired what looked to be the last 2 bundles.

So thats about 48 Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Eggs in all.
as of this update (7/27/16) 11 Eggs remain yet the expiration date is still - months in advance being in November.

Since all health minded people scarf down Candy this is a helpful reminder of the calories within (sarcasm abounds).

Its what it says it is and is mouth waveringly scrumptious when in the mood for sweets.

Peanut Butter on top, Butterfinger Crunch on bottom yet still commingled enrobed in Milk Chocolate.

HOLY FLUFFERNUTTER BATMAN ITS THE JABBERWOCK.

Is there really anything like a Fluffernutter, I dare say NOT.

My personal Fluffernutter story I must share and I have said it before that this page shy from personal trajectory but then every single entry is based on my "personal" opinion so go figure.

My first Fluffernutter was experienced when I was about 9 or 6 years old (give or take) due to I am sure the television ad campaign or maybe I read it on the back of a box. My fragile eggshell mind was so proud and impressed with the taste of this treasure after my parents purchased a jar of Fluff and I had ingested my Sandwich that I danced around gleefully and so much so that I upset my stomach.

I proceeded to "throw up"

My beloved mom Inchu threw out the cask of Fluff and even at that tender age I saw the folly in her ways, it was not the Fluff's fault, it was the whirling dervish of my delightful dancing.

Fluffernutter 2016. All Revved Up.

Even Christina who is an eater of exactingly fastidious choice likes and liked her first Fluffernutter and here is a photo of it.

MSG was on hand only to be teased by the beast.

THE ELVIS

12/19/15 - THE ELVIS - There were previously a few other BACON related items under this post but after trying THE ELVIS they were jettisoned back into the Frying Pan and shall grace (grease) a later entry.

The Elvis is one of those Sandwiches you hear of from time to time and most like myself am completely intrigued but like most Food's your Brain connection to the taste buds cannot really even imagine what it would actually taste like.

Well, In my case it actually surpassed expectations by a wide girth

There she is in all her Buttery, Bacony, Gooey and even Healthy (Bananas are high in protein) Glory.

Highly recommended, I had two myself and then passed out for a three hour nap.

IT'S A PEANUT BUTTER THING YOU WOULD(n't) UNDERSTAND

I was going to open this Gooey salvo with possibly the most popular Peanut Butter based snack in the Western World the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup but David Chang's Momofuku related Milk Bar's "Candy Bar Pie" took precedence.

Akin to a Peanut Butter Pie but with Caramel and look theres a little baby Pretzel.

This photo almost didn't make the grade and then I thought, Why The Heck Not.

My brown bagged PBJ Sandwiches disguised as a McDonald's Food Product.

the McPBJ.

Reese's are What Reese's is.

Showcased atop the Good Yeggs Snare Drum at Good Yegg's rehearsal.

Crumbly Peanut Butter within, Creamy Chocolate wrapped around, an American Classic.

And look what made the back of the Club Cracker box, the perfect snack indeed.

BUTTERFINGER PEANUT BUTTER CUPS, YO

Prince of Cups since time Immemorial has been the Only Cup, Dare I even have to emote the name REESES here. Well,.....

(OK Mallo Cups Were Even before Reeses dating as far back as the Mallozoic age)

I was not insulted as I could very easily have been upon seeing this product upon the shelf today, I even took a photo with my iPhone since everyone has a Dick Tracy pocket camera in this sad age.

So Butterfinger is going to make a PEANUT BUTTER CUP.

OK, I suppose you cannot really trademark that but I am always intrigued to try a new Candy.

First off I noticed upon carefully removing said Cups from Case that they were not Individually wrapped as we are all so used to but no biggie.

These are square shaped instead of round,... Well, you can have a square cup as well so long as it is bowl shaped.

Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups can only be described as a Reeses with Butterfinger Flakes dispersed throughout the Peanut Butter Cream, also the Cream is not as crumbly as a Reeses but the Flakes attenuate towards the Crumbly part. I can only hope these stick around as so many Candy experiments fall by the wayside over the months, years and decades. Absolutely Delicious.

I once had this idea to combine Nougat, Caramel and Nuts and cover it in Chocolate but everyone Snickered at me.

PEANUT BUTTER CREME PIE (Little Debbie)

And just as can be expected from the folks at Little Debbie this is indeed a Sugar Sweet Concoction, wether or not there is Peanut Butter Creme Filling is debatable but not quite to be argued as this is the most Tasty product as Sweet as it is otherwise. Not a Pie as this is a Cookie Sandwich.

I was indeed intrigued as I shall always be with Any Peanut Butter Concoction. Purchased this as I spied it on my way to an ATM machine and my first time seeing this product, at first It did not seem a "Pie" as much as a "Cookie" Sandwich, upon further inspection this was indeed a Cookie Sandwich even with the Pie moniker on the label.

I Loved This, sugary Sweet a la Little Debbie but still Peanut Buttery, will I buy this again,... YES If I can find it. Better go back to the ATM store.

And Its Nutritious. Only 23 % of Saturated Fat.

mmmm,.... Sorbitol.
