LAYS POTATO CHIPS - DO US A FLAVOR ll

I am highly interested in "new" Chip flavors but this plethora of wonderment began when Cristina entered solo into the neighborhood convenience store/pharmacy which for argument's sake we shall call Rite-Aid.

Pepperylicious, this was my first opinion and after awaking to a blind taste test from Cristina, I guessed correctly from the four Chips of choice in the arsenal.

Lay's has got the Tikka Masala down, some other flavors like this one is harder to corner, still the team of Flavor specialists and Chef's have greatly improved since 2015 and perfection is growing closer.

Exceptional job on this one.

Tikka Masala is still the one Lay's mastered but this was a great effort.

I am Seriously Impressed.

A Fantastic Embodiment and Effing Awesome.

This is a Great Tasting quality Chip but if hard pressed I would not be able to answer what Flavor it was trying to emulate. Guess its really hard to get Beef Flavor in a bag.

These are Quite Great, A bit on the Cheesey side of which I have no problem with and the Cheese powder has indeed been nearly perfected by the Snack companies but why is Bacon not a more popular Flavoring, I could taste it and worship it and Everyone Loves Bacon. 

I think this should stick around. It is also very smart of Lays to do "Limited Edition" Flavors, I was a lunatic last summer trying to find the Sriracha Chips but to no avail.

DEEP RIVER SNACKS POTATO CHIPS

Beyond my expectations, These are quite good. Lots of Heat from the Horseradish side, The Aged Cheddar seems to be indistinguishable beyond this point. Quite the Spicy number and much more so than Deli Chips Jalapeño selection. I had joked that "These will probably suck" because Hot is never Hot in Crunchy Snacks but I was pretty happy with them.

Of course now that I am seeking more of the Deep River line of Chips they seem to have gone down the river at least at the moment of this writing, I shall continue to search.

PRINGLES POTATO CRISPS

This was done in Jest (the Idea) as I saw the Pringles Facebook page littered with half pro and half con comments on how to eat Pringles. The post from Pringles ran thus "Ducklip 'em Chug 'em Flavor stack 'em Whatever you do, you don't just eat 'em" to which my reply was "2 Pringles, Pepperoni, 2 Pringles, Cheese and so on and so on" of which I did 12 hours later substituting Ham for Pepperoni. I Love my Pepperoni but a wee bit greasy for a Chip Stack.

Once again the Pringles Company has rolled out a few new Limited Edition Flavors, this is a very smart move as I along with probably a million other consumers want to try the "new" and limited flavors which ad up to a spike in sales and interest (and if very successful they do not remain limited of course). The Chili con Queso tastes just like that, Chili and Cheese and it does have a kick in the aftertaste, searched two stores before finding a tube but was ready to go to a third store. The other two Flavors are Cheeseburger and Chili y Limon. There have been many Flavors both staid and limited over the years but lets not get crazy,... or Lets.
