THE MEATBALL

Nothing More To Say.

LAYS POTATO CHIPS - DO US A FLAVOR ll

I am highly interested in "new" Chip flavors but this plethora of wonderment began when Cristina entered solo into the neighborhood convenience store/pharmacy which for argument's sake we shall call Rite-Aid.

Pepperylicious, this was my first opinion and after awaking to a blind taste test from Cristina, I guessed correctly from the four Chips of choice in the arsenal.

Lay's has got the Tikka Masala down, some other flavors like this one is harder to corner, still the team of Flavor specialists and Chef's have greatly improved since 2015 and perfection is growing closer.

Exceptional job on this one.

Tikka Masala is still the one Lay's mastered but this was a great effort.

I am Seriously Impressed.

Indian Food in a bag.

A Fantastic Embodiment and Effing Awesome.

This is a Great Tasting quality Chip but if hard pressed I would not be able to answer what Flavor it was trying to emulate. Guess its really hard to get Beef Flavor in a bag.

PEOPLE TAKE PICTURES OF EACH OTHER - THE WOK

FACE THE WOK !!!

(these photos were all taken pre-wok use, see below for full wok use).

The WOK is here.

I wanna' WOK & Roll all night and stir-fry everyday.

no comment.

MSG gets in on the action.

Better get a new Wok.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE - THE WOK

Magestic she stands, my very first WOK.

Had to hunt down Rare items (like Peanut Oil) to properly Season the ship.

But Season I did.

As I slowly gathered my forces of Chinese Cooking Sauces.

A Cookbook was accrued as well.

It was titled "To Serve Man".

FOOD DAY lll - 2016

What was most heartwarming and tummy filling of this event (which is in the least annual and possibly even quad annual if not more) was the fact that Amelia and Markito were present.

And so the two Brooklyn boys marched forth with foresight and knowledge of what lay ahead but Maria and Frank's children had great gastronomical approval along the path.

Markito rated L & B Spumoni Garden with a 20 on a scale of 10 and inhaled 4 Slices (count em' 4) on our first stop. Amelia got in on the Spumoni action as well but ask me on Food Day Vlll how she loves the Slices and Spumoni for her details, this is yet to come.

A full Pie at L & B Spumoni Gardens as shot through the window/serving area.

Next stop, Willoughby (Silver Star).

The Wonton Soup with a segmented & contorted Noodle afloat.

It remains so easy to get my regular order of Chow Mein but I am bent on trying new things from the menu.

Here is Chicken with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce.

Yes, it was Delicious.

The regular for Frank and the bartender knows his name.

Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Top flight and first class.

An unusually contorted Crispy Soup Noodle on parade.

Maria's Shrimp & Garlic Sauce.

Amelia & Mister Silver Star.

"looks like we're not in Kansas anymore".

In anticipation of receiving his "Paul Sorvino" Sandwich (Sausage & Broccoli Rabe) Frank happily extends an Manhattan Special Coffee Soda amidst the Stuffed Breads.

(La Familia) Maria, Frank, Amelia & Markito.

Amelia wears the pants in this family but Frank orders the FOOD on this massive FOOD DAY 3.

MILON BANGLADESHI RESTAURANT (PANNA ll) GREENWICH VILLAGE, NYC

This was a short stop at Panna ll my favorite of the cosy Indian Restaurants of yore on the widening bleakness of Ye' Olde Indian Strip of 6th street of Greewich Village. So appetizers only as Cristina and I had to hot foot to a screening of "Multiple Maniacs" at the IFC Film Center.

Due to the overhead Christmas lighting (which I adore) these photos do have a rather odd gloomy lighting with an overpowered tincture but I am opposed to using a camera flash in the Dining space

MULLIGATAWNY SOUP is mandatory.

This was exceptional, not great not bad, somewhere in-between.

Garlic Naan Bread.

Vegetable Samosa.
