SILVER STAR RESTAURANT 3/14/15 Brooklyn, New York.

Paul and Frank made a special trip into Brooklyn for some Silver Star goodness and Cookies from 18th avenue Bakery and that is exactly what happened.

I wanted to get something aside from my Favorite the Chicken/Pork Chow Mein but it was too difficult to not resist Fantail Shrimp and Dim Sum, however we did sample some Scallion Pancakes of which I am quite sure I never had.

Paul's General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice (Lunch portion).

Frank's standby the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce flanked by some Pork Fried Rice but this was the first time possibly that I had seen a Lunch Special size.

Condiments, Sugar & Water.

I Love that band.

One (1) order of Dim Sum of which I  could not resist, I explained to Paul that this was like a Chinese Meatball wrapped in a Noodle.

For Dessert my friends had Ice Cream but I went the Pineapple route.

Approaching the Dining room from 18th avenue.

ITS GOOD TO BE THE BIG KING

I really Craved the 2 for $5 Whopper but as I had just missed the sale, I relinquished or did I ?, well there were certain key Ingredients missing, its called a Tomato slice but I saw that coming

So what is "Outside" Food, We all know but is not that person at head office with a college degree in English I assume better at this type of thing, I am not sure how I feel about the wording. should not "Other" be the word ?

AND what if I bought Food at another Burger King and brought it into another BK establishment, I suppose that would be allowed or would it not be.

The Gracious facade of the Fulton street location.

PUNCH UP THE FLAVOR - FRUIT PUNCH WARS

The Welch's label and color did strike me and started this entire post. Not to be competed with thus far, enjoyable and quite tasty, pretty much what Fruit Punch should be.

Honorable mention goes to the Grape Juice Cocktail which probably the same exact formula they used in Welch's Grapeade when it was called that.

I Love Snapple products but was never a fan of their Fruit Punch, heavy on the Cherry which is no real complaint but a bit mild and watery, you can even tell from looking at it.

Isn't Juicy Juice the Best name ever, yes it is. But this is about the Flavor.

Cherry and Apple overtones, I preferred this to Snapple.

Is Hawaiian Punch.

Peach resounds and a bit of Appleness.

Yellow colored so not the normal Red. How Racist.

But it does sport the see through clear-bottom pouch.

The "Simply" Juice company of Florida makes what I consider to be a very high quality product but I have yet to try their Fruit Punch, well here goes.

I knew I was going to like this, like a slightly Juicier and thicker Hawaiian Punch, in other words a Juice Blend.

Another one of the non-Red Punches and Hi-C is pretty much the Punch people to me. It was OK but not the Flavorasma I expected.

Kinda Peachy.

Sometimes you expect less and get more, this was the case with Sunny D. A quite Flavorful Punch which ranks right up there. Who Knew.

Sometimes you expect more and get less.

SIMPLY is a great company boasting more Fruit than most and make a killer Limeade but this fell way short of the mark, kind of like Snapple Fruit Punch and basically I was somewhat shocked but you live and learn and YUM.

Spotted this Juicy fellow four years after this list began and grabbed a bottle.

Certainly refreshing and a bit on the Apple side of things but in my mind the winner remains the same and is a bit of a surprise.

FISHING WITH THE KING & THE CLOWN - BK vs. McD's

In no way am I playing favorites (yet) but BK was where I saw the sign first and have been planning on my Fishy suarez for over 2 weeks now.

Two Fish Sammies for $5 ($5.44), I Mixed and Matched and purchased a Big Fish and a Spicy Big Fish during the pre-lunch rush. If you have an hour for Lunch expect to spend the majority of it waiting to place your order and receive it as BK is packed at the noontime.

BK Big Fish - Served on a Plain Bun and topped with Lettuce, Tartar Sauce and Pickles the Fish Overlaps the Toasted Bread which is always welcome and part of BK's ennui and grace.

BK Spicy Big Fish - Only just a tad Spicier, the Hotness is in the Bread Crumbs from what I can tell.

McDonald's Filet-O-Fish - A Crispy yet thin Fish Slice served with Tartar Sauce that appears to have the tactile sensation inherent but lacking any Flavor whatsoever, what does rise this above the BK BIG Fish is the Cheese Slice which does compliment the Taste Buds, and who said Fish and Cheese do not fine bedfellows make.

As is McD's modus operandi the Fish Patty Underlaps the Bun and is obscured by it, Less is more ?,... not in this case buddy.

The McDonald's ad campaign and it had better be a dollar cheaper than Burger King, the BK packs more Whale of a Wollop.

2 for 4 like the sign says ($4.36).

BK wins Fins Up compared to the paltry yet tasty Filet-O-Fish that the leader offers.
