This was Truly Delicious, the Chicken, Potatoes & Peppers are done to perfection but there is something really special about the Curry Sauce, I am sure there are a million ingredients but OH MY, 5 Stars right up there.

YOSHINOYA - 7/22/12 - The Passing of a Giant Monster - New York City
There stands a Five Guys Burger and Fries in it's place and YES this will be more lucrative than any Rice Shoppe but that is where stands the elaborate, multi-faceted and somewhat ignorant Western taste buds,... A Burger and Fries (mind you, I am radically guilty myself) does not compare to a Beef Bowl.
Yoshinoya is the greatest place for inexpensive yet authentic Food Bowls to date, New York sorely misses you. The Beef Bowl was just like my mom's Korean Bulgogi over white rice and I always ordered this even on the most important night's of my life when I performed with my band at B.B. Kings Blues club just a few doors down the block and right before seeing Ronnie Spector's Christmas concert, John Entwistle, Dave Davies and countless others at the same venue.
We Will Never forget, Please come back to New York.

DA VINCI PIZZERIA 7/22/12 Brooklyn, New York
After Decades amongst the ranks Da Vinci Pizzeria of 18th avenue still makes one of the best (and choices are dwindling) "Squares" in the new york City Pizza Business. Silky Mozzarella Cheese and a Deep "homeade" Tomato Pizza Sauce gliding over a tasteful dough. The Squares looked so good that Jamie had me get them halved to alleviate the confusion of it all. Jamie had a Fountain Diet Coke and I had a Snapple Raspberry Iced Tea.
Garnished with some Red Pepper flakes, Served on the Classic Wax Paper.
The Slice's we were forced to choose between.
Da Vinci Pizzeria is at 6514 18th avenue.

SHCHNIPPERS QUALITY KITCHEN 7/19/12 New York City
First Off, Holy Crap, Is that the most picturesque Burger you have ever seen ?
After
The Sloppy Joe Throwdown is what really intrigues me, I am assuming it is an All You Can Eat/Winner Takes All contest concerning that favorite amongst meats of all time,... the Sloppy Joe.
The unassuming facade of Scnippers Quality Kitchen (looks kinda like a Duane Reade to me) and just one block away from the crazy haze of Times Square. There are Only Two Locations (as of writing) and they are both here in New York City.

PIZZA DEN 7/4/12 Brooklyn, New York
This Pizzeria was owned by Italians and sold to Russians but the recipes were handed down properly as there was no difference in quality or taste (OK maybe after 5 years the portions became smaller but thats 5 YEARS!!!) Anyhows, This slice was nothing special to me, while not bad it also was not GREAT and I was famished at the time (this was my Breakfast today), the crust was a bit thick and bitty/chewish, sauce was pretty good and cheese was reheated giving it the twice over texture. I had no beverage this time but glanced consistently over at the Mistic Juices available in the cooler. I Never see Mistic Anywhere !!!.
Mistic Blog entry soon.
Pizza Den is on 86th street & 18th avenue.

O' FLANAGANS 6/30/12 New York City
The menu states clearly "ALL burgers served with French Fries" but the Mexican Burger comes with Nacho Chips and Salsa (I wanted all of this plus Fries) instead, Luckily Jamie's Chicken Fingers came with Fries.
Last time I had a Burger here it was Delicious, this time the bread was a tad stale. The Mexican Burger comes topped with Cheddar Cheese, Salsa, Scallions and fresh Jalapeño that have a real kick.
